* Rev. Benjamin Nnaji is our priest-in-charge. He is a dynamic preacher, counselor and teacher of the word with special spiritual insight.

As a family, we embrace a wide variety of church traditions. We take delight in our Anglican heritage, recognizing that it provides a useful framework for developing a deep and well-rounded spirituality. But most importantly, we are a mission-shaped church; constantly seeking to present the Christian faith in ways that are meaningful and accessible for all who worship here.
We believe that God is at work in Bronx and our task is to catch a glimpse of what he is doing – and then try to follow him in our mission and ministry. We value space and time to pray and reflect and encourage the deepening of spirituality for each individual member.
At St. Edmund’s, we want to do all we can to reflect that hospitality to the local community and all who visit. We are a church on a journey – we are far from perfect and we have a long way to go but we are going with Christ who is the head of the Church and He is leading the way. You are encouraged to come along with us and you will be more than welcome!

We are:
*  A Place for WORSHIP:
Come and worship alongside us and receive God's blessings and inspiration.
* A Place for LEARNING:
Come and study the Bible to gain wisdom and spiritual strength in order to help you solve today's problems and relationship.
* A Place for FELLOWSHIP:
Come and surround yourself with a people striving to have positive attitudes and show Love for one another.
* A Place for SERVICE:
Come and accept Jesus' mission for each of us to reach out in service of others, both here in our St. Edmund's community and beyond, "in remembrance of him."

Mission Action Plan (MAP)
 The MAP outlined below, shaped by the Five Marks of Mission, is our guiding document. It is the five (5) pillars of St. Edmund's Episcopal Church is a part f. Tell, Teach, Tend, Transform and Treasure.

Mark 1: ‘Tell the Good News of the Kingdom’
We are called, as a church, to be a Signpost, directing others to the Kingdom work of God that is already happening.

Mark 2: ‘Teach and nurture disciples’
We believe mission enables people and communities to be presented as mature in Christ when he returns on the last day. For that reason, it is crucial that teaching and nurturing people in the faith is a central part of our plans for strategic and coherent growth over the coming years.
We want to undertake a root and branch review of our Children and Youth Work. We recognize that youth culture is fast-changing and we are concerned to develop ministries that are culturally useful for this generation. We must be bold in our efforts to breathe new life into ministry with children and young people.

Mark 3: ‘Tend and care for those in need’
St. Edmund's Episcopal/Anglican Church must be a healing place. It is important for people to find a welcome here and for us to reach out in love and care to the wider community – and beyond. This may revolve around the welcome we offer to newcomers, opportunities for prayer after services, provide food and clothing, after school programs, Senior Service Assistance Programs, how we provide adequate crèche facilities, the welcome children receive into the Eucharistic family and other outreach activities.
Mark 4: ‘Transform the unjust structures in society’
We are committed to looking beyond the boundaries of the local community. We live in a global world: a world in which the local is global and the global is local. We must engage with that
Mark 5: ‘Treasure God’s creation’
We will be seeking to continue this work by developing an Environmental Policy that has realistic and achievable targets.
